Celia Calderon

Celia Calderon (1921 - 1969) was a Mexican artist known for etchings and engravings, as well as oils and watercolors. Her skills earned praise of Mexican critics, and earned a scholarship at the Slade Art School of London, as well as exhibitions in the USSR and China. She was an instructor at the Academy of San Carlos from 1946 until her suicide in 1969.
