The optic swirl of these Toscany vases adds liveliness to the vivid ruby red color which is accented with aventurine on the rims of the vases. The clear scalloped feet with feathering adds a nice offset to the red. The vases retain their original Toscany labels from the early 1960s. These authentic Italian vases are a striking pair you don't want to live without.
Little information is available about Toscany labeled glass, but my best guess is that Toscany was an American importer of Italian glass.
