Scott Marion Duncan

Scott Marion Duncan (American, 1944 - 2017) Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York, and served in the Army as an illustrator for the U.S. Army Exhibit Unit in Cameron Station, Washington, DC.

Duncan worked as an illustrator and fine artist, a craeer which saw him contributing his work to numerous leading magazines of the late 20th C. including Good Housekeeping, Reader's Digest, Family Circle, as well collections at the US Pentagon, Cornell Museum in Iowa, actress Helen Hayes, pianist Liberace, and others. He designed and illustrated at least 4 covers for Time Magazine.

Duncan's style was versatile and contextual, meaning that it was not forumulaic. He created realistic art as well as neo-impressionist., with whole corpus, of what I have seen, being traditional.

Duncan is often confused with another artist Scott Duncan born in 1967.
