Richard Milhous Nixon

One of the most consequential politicians in 20th century American politics, Richard Nixon was representative, senator, vice president, and president of the United States during some of its more more prosperous and turbulent times. His narrow loss to John Kennedy in 1960 was followed by a triumphant electoral success in 1968.
