Meta M Grimm Lacey

Born Meta M Grimm (American, 1887 - 1976), the 20th century artist often signed her name as Meta Grimm Lacey. She was the daughter of a prominent judge and business man in Jefferson, Wisconsin. She married Mark Joseph Lacey, a traveling salesman, and moved to New Britain, Connecticut, no later than 1930, where she died in 1976.

Her portfolio is rather diverse, with subjects including floral still life, winter scenes, and a wild life scene.
