Leopoldo Méndez

Leopoldo Méndez (Mexican, 1902 - 1969) was a leading graphic artist in 20th C. Mexico who founded the aristically and politically important Taller de Gráfica Popular. He fused art and politics to advocate for agrarian and other political reforms in Mexico. He is noted for the Mexico People project and his lithographs.
